Akufo-Addo congratulates Donald Trump on his election as 47th US President

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has congratulated US President-elect Donald Trump on his victory at the polls.

"Warm congratulations to you on your remarkable victory in the U.S. presidential election, becoming the 47th President of the United States of America," a statement by the president said.

"This achievement speaks volumes about the confidence the American people have placed in you and your vision for their future."

I am hopeful that, under your leadership, this bond will grow even stronger, paving the way for collaboration in addressing some of the world's most pressing challenges, as we did during your first mandate.
