Once again, Dr. Bala Wunti has continued to baffle commentators with his philanthropic disposition.
The oil supremo on November 2nd, 2024, through the supervision of Comrade Haruna Usman Modibbo, has set yet another pace, in terms of promoting the welfare of the human race particularly, his fellow Bauchi citizens who are in need of good health.
As part of his efforts to reduce incidence of avoidable hepatitis disease. Not less than 1000 people benefited from the free hepatitis A, B and C screening exercise organised and sponsored by Dr. Bala Wunti.
Hepatitis A, B and C are among the most common and costly chronic health conditions causing two-thirds of deaths each year worldwide.
Both old and young, most especially the senior citizens from Bauchi metropolis were provided with necessary tests in an exercise that was conducted on Saturday 2nd November, 2024.
The outreach, according to the sponsor/organisers was borne out of the need to improve the health conditions of the metropolitan people.
This is not the first time that Dr. Bala Wunti has contributed his quota to help the people in the area of health in the state. But because of the importance of physical, social and mental health as key factors that determine total well being of an individual noting that community members would benefit from the free health checks.
Dr. Wunti is doing this to support the able administration of His Excellency, Governor Bala Mohammed and put smiles on the faces of others by helping them not only with screening, but also with treatment and medications in furtherance of its efforts to fill the vacuum in the health sector towards producing an environment filled with healthy people without hepatitis.
Hepatitis A, B and C are rated among the most common and costly chronic health conditions causing two-thirds of deaths each year worldwide and indeed now the oil supremo has brought the health test and treatment on these ailments to the door steps of our people at no cost to them at all where free medical screening and free treatment for the people was conducted.
