Prophet Nigel Gaisie revealed in a recent interview that, contrary to public expectation, he sometimes gets his prophecies wrong.
To him, a prophet with 100% accuracy is likely “fake.”
Speaking with Andy Dosty, Gaisie explained that his occasional missteps in prophecy remind him that he is human and fallible for making mistakes.
“I sometimes get my prophecies wrong. That’s what makes me human. Every prophet who gets it 100% is fake.
“Sometimes God might allow a slip so that the prophet stays humble and mindful of his limitations,” Gaisie explained on Daybreak Hitz.
Gaisie credited Reverend Eastwood Anaba as a key mentor who helps guide him today, though he admitted he had no such direction in his late 20s.
“There are things I did years ago, like certain prophecies about Mahama, that I would communicate differently now,” he stated.
Known for his bold predictions about political and national events, Gaisie recently prophesied a loss for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming election, a statement that has already sparked discussion across Ghana.
As the head of the Prophetic Hill Church, Gaisie’s predictions about politics and public figures often draw attention, but he emphasizes that he sometimes get it wrong.
He expressed, “Sometimes, we get it wrong, and that’s just part of being a prophet.”
