The Fast Track High Court hearing the case of the former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings has adjourned the case yet again.

The case could not be heard on Tuesday because the presiding judge, Justice Baffoe Bonnie was not in court. A date has not been fixed for the next hearing.

Nana Konadu and another accused, Madam Sherry Ayittey were also not in court but former Finance Minister Kwame Peprah and Emmanuel Agbodo, a former director of the Divestiture Implementation Committee were present.

Joy News sources at the courts say no date has been fixed for the next hearing yet because lawyers for the accused could not agree on a date proposed by the court.

The lawyers are expected to meet later in the day to agree on a date that is acceptable to all parties.

Mrs. Rawlings is standing trial for allegedly causing financial loss of billions of cedis to the state in the divestiture of Nsawam Cannery. She and the other accused persons have all pleaded not guilty to the charges.
