The Ghanaian Cedi has depreciated in both the buying and selling rates against the United States dollar, declining by 3 pesewas and 5 pesewas respectively compared to rates on Monday.

The buying rate as at 10:30 am on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, is GHS16.33 while the selling rate is being offered at GHS16.77.

This is based on data provided by Cedirates.com, a well-known Ghanaian website for currency and fuel updates.

The Cedi is trading at GHS16.39 on purchasing rate and GHS16.41 selling price at interbank rates against the US dollar.

The buying and selling rates of the British Pound Sterling are, on average, GHS20.97 and GHS21.79, respectively.

The purchasing and selling rates for the Euro are GHS17.53 and GHS18.30, respectively.

The selling price of the Pound Sterling on the Bank of Ghana interbank market is GHS21.24.

The Euro is currently selling at GHS17.86 on the interbank market.

Through LemFi and Afriex, people can send money to Ghana from the US or the UK at GHS16.25 and GHS15.66 respectively for each dollar.

The two money transfer sites are offering buying and selling rates of GHS21.20 and GHS20.69 for the British Pound, respectively.

The only one of the two that updated Euro rates on Tuesday, Afriex, is selling GHS17.21 for €1.

For those who will be renewing their Netflix, Spotify or Apple Music subscriptions through Visa and Mastercard, both payment processors are offering a US dollar for GHS17.55 and GHS.17.49, respectively.
