My vision filled with new ideas, bold solutions have been widely received – Bawumia

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has expressed optimism that his vision, centered on new ideas and bold solutions, is resonating strongly with Ghanaians as he campaigns ahead of the 2024 general elections.

"The energy and enthusiasm on display during my engagements with the chiefs, religious leaders, the youth and other persons was ample evidence that my vision filled with new ideas and bold solutions had been widely received," the NPP flagbearer said on Tuesday.

Dr. Bawumia’s remarks received a rousing applause in the Ashanti Region on Monday, November 4, marking the start of his 15-day tour of the area.

On the first day of his tour, Dr. Bawumia visited key constituencies, including Atwima Mponua, Atwima Nwabiagya North, and Atwima Nwabiagya South, engaging with chiefs, religious leaders, the youth, and community members.

Reflecting on his interactions, he expressed confidence that Ashanti Region would continue to support the NPP with a significant turnout on December 7 to keep the party in power.

“As always, Ashanti Region has welcomed me and the NPP with open arms, and Monday was no different,” Dr. Bawumia shared in a Facebook post.

He added, “The energy and enthusiasm on display during my engagements with community leaders and citizens showed me that my vision, filled with fresh ideas and bold solutions, has been widely received.”

Dr. Bawumia voiced optimism that the Ashanti Region would join forces with the other regions to elect a leader focused on enhancing the lives of all Ghanaians.

With this mandate, he aims to build on his record to sustain economic growth and prosperity nationwide.
