A strong team of University of Ghana (UG) lecturers has energetically hit the ground campaigning for Mr John Dramani Mahama and NDC to win election 2024. This team of lecturers went to Dome Kwabenya, on 15 October 2024, determined to wrestle the parliamentary seat from NPP for Elikplim Akurugu, a candidate contesting for the seat on NDC ticket.
They are perfectly right to campaign for whichever political party and individuals they want. However, for them to publicly assert that they will continue preaching the gospel of Mahama and the NDC as lecturers of UG campus is in my estimation very demeaning of them.
What gospel has Mr Mahama going into election 2024? Is it not the provision of small chicks, small coops, and a little money to interested Ghanaians to go into poultry farming to better their living standards?
Is it not about his introduction of a 24-hour economy in Ghana, a supposedly novelty but which himself and his entire NDC faithful are clueless about?
Is it his idea to fight the devastating illegal small scale and alluvial mining using artificial intelligence (AI), although he had declared his support for the illegal miners and has even vowed to grant those already prosecuted and imprisoned presidential pardon if he wins the upcoming election?
Let me ask these lecturers to explain to the public how Mr Mahama will create a 24-hour economy in Ghana that they themselves are propagating, as though it is the most effective weapon or trump card for winning election 2024 for Mr Mahama and NDC?
So far, all the explanations given to the establishment of the proposed 24-hour economy in Ghana by Mr Mahama himself, the NDC leadership and members, both educated and illiterates, are completely nonsensical to the ears of discerning Ghanaians.
How do you as highly educated Ghanaians, ye UG lecturers supportive of the policy, explain it?
I am telling you that a 24-hour economy is not created by any government or president but the system itself. How do you accept this, o, ye polarised and partisan lecturers of little faith in 21st Century engine for job creation, thus, digitization and digitalization and the visions of Dr Bawumia as are contained in his 2024 manifesto?
Please UG lecturers, don’t be fooled by the opaque NDC political lenses you are wearing to end up deceiving the electorate for there is no credible gospel about the shallow policies and programmes so far promised Ghanaians by Mr Mahama if he won the election.
I don’t want to cite any of the numerous but damn stupid explanations given to the establishment of a 24-hour economy in Ghana by Mr Mahama himself, Asiedu Nketiah, Okudzeto Ablakwah, Fiifi Kwetey and a host of other NDC members and supporters because it does not worth my time.
How do you UG lecturers supporting Mr Mahama explain the creation and successful establishment of a 24-hour economy in Ghana as a vehicle for creating jobs to absorb most, if not all, the unemployed in Ghana?
Anyway, Dome Kwabenya will stay NPP and Dr Bawumia will win election 2024 no matter how much dust you throw into the eyes of the electorate.
The free Senior High School education as introduced by President Nana Akufo-Addo is the weapon being wielded to win election 2024 for Dr Bawumia, the most visionary, humble, honest, dynamic, and dedicated presidential candidate on the ballot for election 2024.
Fellow Ghanaians, please don’t be fooled by these UG lecturers who may not be honest with you because of their overly NDC political affiliation.
