Now defector Hopeson Adorye once toiled tirelessly to ensure that NPP came to power. He travelled abroad campaigning and encouraging interested Ghanaians residing overseas to financially support then NPP presidential candidate Nana Akufo-Addo and NPP win election 2016.
Hopeson Adorye for his activistic love of NPP, escaped imprisonment by a hair’s breadth in 2013 when he was found guilty of contempt of court along with late Lawyer Owusu Afriyie aka Sir John, by the Atuguba’s Supreme Court. This shows how hard Hopeson has worked for NPP, risking his life along the path.
Yes, politics is about numbers and making choices. Therefore, if Hopeson has decided to follow Mr Alan Kwadwo Kyeremateng aka Alan Cash, for his personal reasons, fine with him. No one holds any grudge against him.
However, for Hopeson to go public, destructively criticising NPP and some personalities in the party for all absurd reasons is just a blow below the belt.
If he has realised that he has made a wrong choice going with Alan, when he, Alan, flip-flopped and split from NPP to form his Butterfly Movement for Change, he had better double back rather than to go haywire soiling the reputation of NPP.
Attacking Asante Bediatuo, alleging he, Hopeson, has caused his illness by spiritually sending back to him the evil spell he, Asante Bediatuo, had intended to cast on him is just too childish a revelation by Hopeson.
NPP had not been all that wicked and ungrateful towards Hopeson, as far as I can recollect. Did they not help him to contest for a parliamentary seat in a suburb of Accra on the ticket of NPP during election 2020 but which he unfortunately lost to NDC?
Had he not been offered an appointment by President Nana Akufo-Addo and even used to travel with the president on some of his foreign missions?
Hopeson, I shall advise that you cease your childish attitudes directed at demonising NPP to rather enhance the chances of NDC in the upcoming December 7, 2024, general election.
The NPP will win the election regardless of any damning revelations of acts of criminality committed by the NPP, but which are hidden from the public.
Come back as a prodigal son and you will be welcomed back into the NPP fraternity. Even, we are ready to accept Alan, your master, back into the NPP fold.
A word to the wise is sufficient.
