Cuban Envoy Visits “Ghana Palaver”

THE new Cuban Ambassador to Ghana, Mr. Miguel Perez Cruz, has paid a visit to the offices of the “Ghana Palaver” at GICEL, new Weija, Accra.
It was part of his familiarization tour of the city, which includes visits to the various media houses in the capital.
The new envoy expressed the hope that the Ghanaian media would give him a maximum degree of co-operation during his stay in the country.
On his part, Mr. Joojo Bruce-Quansah, Managing Editor of "The Ghana Palaver" expressed the hope that the healthy relationship existing between Cuba and Ghana would not only be sustained but also grow stronger in the coming years.
In particular, he praised the role of the Cuban Medical Brigade, whose presence, especially in the rural areas, has contributed immensely to the health delivery system in the country.
Mr. Bruce-Quansah also wished the Cuban leader Commerade Fedal Castro a speedy recovery.
