Prophecies Don't Win Elections; Let's Be Focused

Feature Article Prophecies Dont Win Elections; Lets Be Focused
WED, 02 OCT 2024

Electoral success of a political party isn't predicated on prophesies of prophets; it's all about energizing the core base in particular, and convincing the general populace with cogent policy alternatives.

Biblically, Pastors are shepherds, but they lead human beings who are capable of making individual choices. They don't lead flock of sheep whose decision-making capacities are dictated by who lead them.

Again, the attention on celebrities who don't know anything about the party's ideology and policy objectives, is unproductive. A celebrity must join the campaign out of conviction and not because of inducement.

The extensive electioneering campaign being prosecuted by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is very productive, and we must all, in whatever way and by means possible, must compliment his efforts in our constituencies.

NPP has the trust of the good people of Ghana because they know we're much better managers of the country. That notwithstanding, we must work hard to make the victory comprehensively incontestable.

As for NDC officials and their party FOOL-soldiers, they'll spend all their time and energy fighting the EC over non-existent discrepancies in the voters' register, and before they realize, elections are over.

They would then cry wolf and shout their lungs out over being cheated, but their noise will remain with them in their rooms. And if they attempt a civil strife, they'll be contained with alarcrity and utmost religiosity.

Elections are won at the polling station, and like I keep saying: when you have all duly signed picksheets by accredited polling agents and deligently collated your figures, EC cannot change same by any means.

NPP, since 1993, have done this with utmost alarcrity and knife-edge precision. Conversely, NDC have exhibited crass incompetence and lackadaisical egregiousity. They have not had their collated figures since 1993.

All electoral reforms Ghana has had, since the inception of the 4th Republic, and in the days of wooden ballot boxes and photoless voters' ID have been handiworks of the NPP, with NDC vehemently resisted resisting.

The NDC strategy is: creat in the minds of party FOOL-soldiers, a narrative of being cheated, with expressed purpose of hiding their looming electoral defeat, so they engage in violence after the results. But we shall see.
