The Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) is warning the public about fraudulent job advertisements circulating on social media that are posing as official recruitment notices from the state-owned airports operator.

In a statement released on Saturday, September 14, GACL's management said it has noted with concern recruitment advertisements making the rounds on platforms like Facebook and WhatsApp.

The company disassociates itself completely from these ads and advises Ghanaians to be vigilant of online scams.

"Management wishes to inform the general public that these advertisements are fraudulent and do not originate from GACL," the statement reads in part.

It goes on to clarify that "GACL does not advertise recruitments on social media or online portals."

According to the statement, anyone responding to or engaging with these fake ads risks falling victim to employment scams and sharing personal details with criminals.

They urged the public to only trust official job postings released through GACL's verified website and print publications.
