GAF opens 2024 recruitment, set deadline for October 11
The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has commenced the recruitment process for 2024, according to Brigadier General E. Aggrey-Quashie, Director General of Public Relations.
In a press release issued on September 13, Brigadier General Aggrey-Quashie announced that "The scratch cards for the online application are on sale at GH¢350.00 each across the country at designated Ghana Post offices listed in the advert."
Interested persons have until October 11, 2024 to complete their online applications, he added.
“The portal for the online application has been activated hence interested persons can log on to http://apply.mil.gh to apply. The closing date for the online submission is Friday 11 October 2024," the release reads in part.
The GAF spokesperson warned that "GAF…does not employ middlemen or agents for enlistment."
He added "The public is strongly advised to desist from paying monies to any person(s) who present themselves as middlemen or agents with the promise of helping potential applicants to secure enlistment into GAF.”
General Aggrey-Quashie cautioned that "The Ghana Armed Forces further wishes to state that individuals who present themselves as middlemen, intermediaries or agents demanding payment in order to assist any candidate(s) should be reported to the nearest military installation or Police Station."
