African blackmailing works
On September 13, 2024, Germany and Kenya signed a contract for new cooperation.
Kenya agrees to take back their illegal migrants (800 of 15.000 Kenyans in Germany). Germany agrees to welcome 250.000 well-trained young Kenyans to fill empty workplaces. Kenya covers the cost of training them in various professions. Kenyan President William Ruto gets rid of his protesting youth (67% unemployment rate in the age group 15-34) with no need to improve the situation in his country. He pushes them for a brighter future abroad. Brain Drain will be the consequence. Most likely these talented Kenyans might never come back people the country highly depends on for a brighter future.
Germany sees this first contract of that kind as a blueprint for future contracts with other African countries.
When Germany signs such contracts that help to solve German problems over the long run it creates further problems in Africa due to the African leader's slogan "business as usual" as they are traditionalists.
