One of the New Patriotic Party Presidential aspirants, Dr Kofi Konadu Apraku has given the assurance that when he becomes President he will appoint District Chief Executives from among the constituency executives.

That, he said would not only promote the effective and efficient administration of the districts but also ensure the effective running of the party at the constituency level.

Dr Apraku, who is also the MP for Offinso North was addressing NPP constituency executives at New Edubiase as part of his campaign tour to the Ashanti region.

Dr Apraku's tour of the constituency was to solicit for support in the upcoming delegates' conference of the NPP in December this year.

He buttresses his argument by alluding to a statement attributed to a constituency executive member to the effect that when the President appointed one of the constituency executive members as DCE, his performance was fantastic.

Dr Apraku called on the delegates to do their own proper assessment of the candidates who were gunning for that enviable position and make the right choice.

He reminded them that a politician was the one who had passed through the mill as he had done and urged the delegates to root for him.
