The Nature and Development Foundation, in collaboration with A Rocha Ghana and WACAM, has launched a two-day knowledge workshop focusing on evidence-gathering, personal safety, and organizational security.

The event, funded by the European Union (EU) under the BRACE (Building Resilience and Active Communities in Extractive Landscapes) project and UKaid under the Building Active Actors and Systems to Support (BAASS) Deforestation-Free Communities in Ghana and Liberia project, aims to strengthen the skills of participants in these critical areas.

Taking place from September 3 to 4, 2024, the workshop seeks to equip participants with essential techniques for evidence collection and strategies to ensure both personal and organizational safety. The initiative is particularly relevant given the rising threats faced by environmental activists, community leaders, and organizations involved in climate change adaptation and natural resource management.
