Dennis Amfo Sefah, the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for Tema West, urged Ghanaians to "focus on upgrading into a brighter future with Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and not resetting the country into the Stone Age era under Mahama."
Dennis emphasized the transformative projects completed under President Akufo-Addo's leadership, particularly within the Tema West constituency.
He pointed out that "now is the time to continue upgrading the country's infrastructure, rather than resetting progress by reverting to the leadership of former President John Mahama."
He cautioned that a return to Mahama's administration could revive the "dumsor" era, which was "marked by frequent power outages that crippled businesses and stifled economic growth."
In his speech, Dennis appealed to the president for further support in developing crucial roads in the area, specifically the Lashibi and Adjei Kojo roads, which he described as "vital for local growth."
He also expressed his gratitude to the King of Nungua, the Chief of Bortey Man, and the people of Tema West for their unwavering support of the government's initiatives.
Dennis concluded by reinforcing the need for "seamless progress and development under the incorruptible Dr. Bawumia," rather than a regression to the past, underscoring the theme: "Upgrade, Not Reset."
He said this during the commissioning ceremony for the newly constructed Bortey Man School Junction Road, where President Nana Akufo-Addo received high praise for his administration's impactful infrastructural advancements.
