Police investigate video of female student’s assault

Ghana Police Service has initiated an investigation in response to a viral video that has stirred public outrage on social media.

The 31-second video, titled “Kumaca on heat,” shows a female student being harassed and assaulted by a group of young men, primarily male students.

The video captures the young woman being pushed, verbally abused, and forcefully grabbed by her dress.

The police in a statement, assured the public that they are working diligently to identify the culprits and bring them to justice.
