Lawyer Samuel Abu Jinapor, the Member of Parliament for Damongo, ignited intense political discussions within his constituency with two powerful mini-rallies on August 9th and 10th at the Busunu Electoral Area and the Zongo/Langbonto Electoral Area.

These rallies were part of his efforts to strengthen connections with his constituents and highlight his achievements.

Marked by large crowds and enthusiastic support, Jinapor's rallies underscored his influence and popularity within the constituency. His ability to attract significant numbers of supporters demonstrated his solid base and the trust his constituents place in him.

During these engagements, Jinapor showcased his track record of delivering essential services and infrastructure, emphasizing his ongoing commitment to the welfare of his people. His speeches, characterized by confidence and a clear vision for the future, resonated strongly with attendees, further solidifying his standing as a key figure in the region.

These rallies highlighted Jinapor’s political influence and the potential challenges he poses within the region’s political dynamics. As he continues his constituency-wide engagements, his impact will likely be felt both locally and throughout the broader regional political landscape. At the rally, Jinapor reminded constituents of his key promises during the 2020 election campaign and enthusiastically outlined the initiatives he has implemented to improve their lives, including youth empowerment and jobs, road construction, infrastructure, farmers’ empowerment, women’s empowerment, health development, and educational empowerment.

Addressing youth empowerment and job creation, Jinapor emphasized the numerous opportunities he has facilitated for his constituency's youth across various sectors. He proudly cited his efforts in securing positions for young people in key agencies such as the Police, Prison Service, Immigration Service, Ambulance Service, Fire Service, Audit Service, Military, Forestry Commission, Lands Commission, and the Mining Commission, among others. He confidently asserted that his track record in creating employment opportunities for the youth far surpasses that of his predecessor, underscoring his dedication to improving the livelihoods of his constituents. His remarks reinforced his ongoing commitment to fostering economic growth and development through sustained efforts in job creation.

Jinapor highlighted several of his accomplishments, including refurbishing the Bunsunu Health Centre, constructing a maternity ward at Larabanga, facilitating the connection of some communities to the national grid, constructing three AstroTurf parks in Larabanga, Damongo, and Busunu, building school facilities in several communities, drilling boreholes for potable water, and providing bicycles to some basic students for commuting to school. At the Busunu mini-rally, he emphasized the need to improve the health system and further surprised the community by donating a brand-new ambulance. The gesture was met with astonishment and heartfelt appreciation from the community.

He also took the opportunity to underscore the importance of voting for him and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to experience more development under their leadership. This plea, among others, reverberated through the Savannah Region, with the opposition National Democratic Congress recognizing the significant influence of the venerable lawmaker and minister in the constituency and beyond.

The donation of the ambulance and the ongoing renovation of the health center underscores Jinapor’s dedication to the well-being of his constituents. These initiatives serve as a reminder of the critical role accessible healthcare plays in the development and prosperity of any community. Through such actions, Samuel Abu Jinapor continues to demonstrate his commitment to uplifting his constituency, making tangible improvements that directly benefit the lives of those he serves.
