Agyapadie document: Even if it is fabricated the implementation is not fabricated – Mahama to Akufo-Addo

Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has shared his view on the widely circulated Agyapadie document.

The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) government has been accused of being behind the Agyapadie document which details a grand plan to loot and capture state assets.

This week, President Akufo-Addo addressed the allegation that his family is behind the widely circulated ‘Agyapadie’ document.

The president argued that the Agyapadie document is a fabrication by his political opponents.

“This baseless accusation is yet another example of the malicious tactics used to undermine my credibility and integrity,” President Akufo-Addo said.

Sharing his view on the matter today, John Dramani rejected the defence mounted by President Akufo-Addo.

He said even if the Agyapadie document is a fabrication, its implementation is not a fabrication.

“Recently there was an issue about a document called Agyapadie, they said it is fabricated but even if it is fabricated, the implementation is not fabricated. Because everything that is written in that document has been implemented.

“So if really somebody sat and fabricated that document then the person can really read the minds of people because how they could have written that document and was the mind of Nana Akufo-Addo and his family that this what they were going to do then that person is proper creative writer,” John Dramani Mahama said.

Meanwhile, the former President has stressed that the ruling NPP government must be held accountable for the hardship and the crisis they have subjected Ghanaians to in the last eight years.
