The trial judge, Mr. C.A Wilson, convicted Saah on his own plea of guilty to the counts of causing unlawful damage, threat of death and stealing.

The prosecution had it that at about 12:30p.m on March 6, this year, the three women were asleep in their rooms when the convict, armed with a machete, forced their doors open one-by-one and stole those items.

An unusual sound created by his unlawful entry and presence awakened the complainants whose attempt to shout was not possible because of Saah's threat to kill them if they dared shout.

They, however, managed to raise the alarm, and when Saah saw people coming he bolted.

Luck however eluded Saah as he was apprehended by members of the local watch dog committee, who escorted him to the Swedru Police Station.
