Hajia Samira Bawumia Has Started Doing What She Knows Best; Her Campaign Tour In Perspective

In the run up to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential Primary last year, I made a strong case for the election of *H. E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia* as the Presidential Candidate of the NPP. Among other reasons, I indicated in an article dedicated to *H. E. Hajia Samira Bawumia* that, she does not need any rehearsals to kick start her campaign and to serve as the First Lady of Ghana.

The campaign to canvas votes for the Flag Bearer of the NPP is intensifying as the day for the general elctions draws near. The workaholic NPP Presidential Candidate is already on his second phase of his campaign, touring constituencies across the nation. At the same time, the results-oriented Vice Presidential Candidate, *Hon. Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh* is also touring the country, meeting with chiefs and opinion leaders as a warmup to intensifying his campaign.

Whiles the Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidates are vigorously touring the nation, moving from constituency to constituency and region to region, the affable and eloquent Second Lady, Hajia Samira Bawumia has also started her campaign tour. She has beautifully started her campaign in the Oti region and moved to the Western Region, where she is meeting with opinion leaders and the electorates.

Undoubtedly, Hajia Samira Bawumia is a strategist and admirable Lady who knows how to perfectly execute this campaign. It is clearly evident that she is just warming up to increase the insomnia of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) that is currently being caused by Dr. Bawumia, her Husband, the NDC nightmare.

The job of Hajia Samira Bawumia is simple. She eloquently tells the electorates the unprecedented achievements of the Nana-Bawumia government, the great and generational thinking policies that Dr. Bawumia has contributed to this current government and the bold solutions for the future of Ghana, being proposed by the NPP Flag Bearer. Hajia Samira Bawumia is in her comfort zone and she is just doing what she knows best.

The NPP campaign machinery is solid and purposeful, and all and sundry will soon realize why NPP selected Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as their Presidential Candidate for the 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary elections. Dr. Bawumia has the winning formula and holds the future of Ghana with his bold solutions for the country. The digital foundation has been laid and the digital economy is ready to take off. We leave the analogue thinking to the empty and scary alternative.
