GT Bank opens two more branches

The Guaranty Trust Bank Ghana Limited has announced the official opening of two new branches in Tema and Accra.

The Managing Director of the Bank, Mr Dolapo Ogundimu, announced this during a tour of the two branches by the media to have first hand knowledge of the bank's operations.

The Accra branch located at the Airport Residential Area is expected to focus on the banking needs of the retail customers while the Tema Branch is expected to serve the business community in the Habour Area.

Mr Ogundimu said: “We are committed to providing professional banking services to various facets of the Ghanaian economy.”

The Bank which started operations in Ghana in March last year would also open two other outlets at Osu in Accra and Kumasi in the Ashanti region.

The MD expressed the hope that it would open as many outlets as possible throughout the country to enable Ghanaians have access to the quality services they provided.

“The only thing that makes GT Bank unique from other banks in the world is its quality service,” he said.

Mr Ogundimu said the bank offered electronic product services including telephone banking, SMS banking, Internet banking. It sends statements by email, has ATM services, Western Union Money Transfer and payment of electricity bills in all its branches.

The GT Bank Ghana Limited is a subsidiary of GT Bank plc Nigeria. It has other subsidiaries and offshore banks in English-speaking West African countries like Ghana, Sierra Leone, Nigeria and the Gambia.

Mr Ogundimu announced that a new branch would soon be opened in London.
