Along with pervasive corruption, money laundering, incompetence, and laziness, Akufo Addo-Bawumia's government failed, and Ghana's once-thriving economy, businesses, and investments collapsed. However, some individuals and groups associated with the NPP government also played a significant role in hastening the country's devastation of its infrastructures. One of the individuals is Victor Kusi Boateng, a pastor and the national cathedral's board of trustees’ secretary.
Pastor Victor Kusi Boateng is the founder of Power Chapel Worldwide, with its headquarters in Kumasi. Among other pastors, who subsequently withdrew, he was appointed to the board of trustees to supervise the cathedral project, Akufo Addo's promise to God, which later became a national project for a reason everyone knew was driven by corruption to embezzle money from the government. To make room for the project, the president demolished the government’s properties, including judges’ bungalows.
In a period when the economy, businesses, and investments are rapidly declining amid high rates of unemployment and inflation, Hon. Sam Okudzeto Ablakwa, MP for North Tongu who had previously exposed several financial crimes within the Akufo Addo-Bawumia government, decides to delve deeply into the cathedral project, which has already received an astounding 58 million dollars without foundation, in a country where the youth are desperate for employment without any.
The North Tongu Member of Parliament's inquiry showed that Kwabena Adu Gyamfi and the pastor Victor Kusi Boateng are the same individuals. Regarding this illegal scenario, the law views those caught in its complex web as being capable of deceit or committing crimes without being found out or fooled into believing they are someone else. As a result, Victor Kusi Boateng should have been detained and charged with dual citizenship. However, Kusi Boateng was never arrested for his crime.
The so-called man of God probably possesses two national identification cards to enable double voting if Victor Kusi Boateng is the same person as Kwabena Adu Gyamfi. However, because Kusi Boateng committed every crime for the benefit of the ruling administration, the authorities were unconcerned about these troubling situations. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that the criminal has the arrogance to call Ablakwa for legal action because he has damaged his reputation.
This should demonstrate to everyone how deeply corrupt the Akufo Addo-Bawumia regime has made Ghana, to the point where those who oppose corruption are now being threatened with legal action, intimidation, and even death. Under the NPP administration, financial crimes have ravaged Ghanaian society. Surprisingly, a large number of men of God and religious organizations are responsible for these crimes, which have destroyed the nation's infrastructure and harmed its citizens.
Regretfully, Ghana's educational establishments are producing political criminals, while the country's religious establishments are both endorsing and participating in significant corruption scandals. Since many journalists, like Kwame Sefa Kayi, Paul Adom-Otchere, and other tribal media outlets, are making a living by endorsing and defending Akufo Addo-Bawumia government crimes, journalism under the current regime has lost credibility. Why wouldn't Cecilia Dapaah steal $1 million with impunity?
Following a long silence, Victor Kusi Appiah reappeared in the media, this time to repeat his prophecy that the New Patriotic Party would win the 2024 presidential contest "as long as Justin Frimpong Kodua remains the General Secretary." Since God has never been connected to prophets who have assumed multiple identities, I am unsure if this prophecy originated with God or one of the gods of Baal. It's clear from a psychological perspective that Kusi Boateng fears going to jail if the NPP loses.
For a pastor in Ghana who has seen the country's tragedies and the effects of a despicable government that has destroyed lives and the economy, not to mention that the majority of Ghanaians have rejected both Matthew Opoku Prempeh and Bawumia, it defies logic that God would send him a message telling his people that the NPP will win as long as Kodua is the party's general secretary and the ruling party.
I challenge Victor Kusi Boateng, also known as Kwabena Adu Gyamfi, prophesy, with a counter-attack that Bawumia can’t win the presidency in 2024, unless by vote-rigging, which would result in bloodshed because considering the unprecedented hardships that have plagued the nation, the majority of Ghanaians are not prepared to welcome him as president, since he is responsible for the collapsed economy, businesses, and investments.
