Mr. John Mahama Challenged NPP And Northerners In 2012 And 'They Have Heard' (Bawumia)

The Almighty God has His own way of doing things and certainly the 2024 presidential election in Ghana is not an exception. This election is very special in that what Mr. John Mahama thought was impossible has become possible. God has made it possible for the man with a mindset full of possibilities to be the Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections.

What really happened in the 2012 general elections? Former President John Mahama Challenged the NPP to let *Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia* lead the party as a Northerner if they wanted Northerners to vote for the party.

Did former President John Mahama think he would be in this shoe in 2024? Clearly and certainly not. If he had known, he would not have emphatically challenged NPP to make Dr. Bawumia a Presidential Candidate of the party if indeed they needed votes from Northerners. It is obvious that the mindset of impossibilities embedded in them was at play, hence, the reason why he categorically stated that NPP would use Dr. Bawumia and dump him. He concluded that it will never happen.

Thankfully, NPP have accepted the challenge and coincidentally, Mr. John Mahama is the Presidential Candidate of his party and Dr. Bawumia is the Leader, Flag Bearer and Presidential Candidate of the NPP. Mr. Mahama, NPP have heard. Nature is interesting and humbling, indeed. Mr. Mahama's all-time nightmare, Dr. Bawumia, is now his main contender.

The good people of the North, Dr. Bawumia is not leading any political party but the very NPP Former President Mahama told you to vote for if they choose Dr. Bawumia as their Presidential Candidate. It is clearly showing up that the people of the North have heard (Bawumia) and are responding positively.

Bawumia, they have indeed heard. The massive support for Dr. Bawumia across the five Northern Regions is unprecedented and this is shaking the 'kingdom' of the NDC and could be the reason behind their uninspiring campaign launch in Northern Region. The crowd that welcomed Dr. Bawumia to the Yagaba-Kubori Constituency alone, could by estimation, surpassed the people who gathered at Tamale for the NDC National Campaign Launch.

Mr. John Mahama brought it upon himself and he is now 'restless and hot' like 'a pregnant toad'. I believe, the signal is clear to him that, his brother, Dr. Bawumia is retiring him in politics on December 7, 2024.

The good people of Northern Ghana, you heard Mr. Mahama in 2012, just do as he wished. Mr. John Mahama, NPP have heard *(Bawumia)* , Northerners have heard *(Bawumia)* and they are voting for Dr. Bawumia to fulfill your wish.
