Dr. George Domfeh, a researcher and lecturer at the University of Ghana, has expressed support for the Electoral Commission’s assurance of overseeing free and fair elections this year.

Jean Adukwei Mensa, the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC), has reaffirmed the Commission's commitment to ensuring a level playing field for all candidates and political parties in the December 7 polls.

She assured that the EC has implemented a rigorous process to guarantee the accuracy of election data.

“In terms of the arrangements put in place, the conduct of our field staff, the availability of materials, and the functioning of our equipment, among others, the 2024 Voters Registration Exercise was highly successful,” Mrs. Mensa stated.

“It was inclusive and highly participatory, and to date, we have not heard or received any complaints relating to the disenfranchisement of citizens,” she added.

Reacting to this on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" morning show, Dr. George Domfeh commented on this pledge, highlighting that Ghana’s peace has been sustained by its democratic practices.

He urged the citizenry to continue upholding democratic values and warned against behaviors that could disturb the country’s peace and stability.

Dr. Domfeh advised presidential candidates to accept defeat peacefully if they do not win the elections.

“It shouldn't turn into a war when you lose the elections,” he emphasized.

Who is this desperate attention seeker? Where did he get his PhD from, did he actually go through the routine annual reviews, major review and the final Viva that are required to get PhD? If he dis, from which school?. The man sounds highly unintelligent and illogical each time he opens his front door.
