Nigerians smartness due to their hard school system — Michael Blackson

Popular US-based Ghanaian comedian Michael Blackson attributes the intelligence of Nigerian nationals to the rigorous school system in Nigeria.

In a social media post on Tuesday, July 23, Blackson shared his experience of attending school in Nigeria as a child and how it helped make Nigerians some of the smartest people in the world.

"Nigeria's school system was very hard and that’s why Nigerians are probably some of the smartest people in the world. I loved school and the disciplinary system in Nigeria was unmatched lol," wrote Blackson on his experience.

The comedian recalled being left to stay in Enugu, Nigeria with another family at the age of 9 by his mother who was evangelising there.

He said the disciplinary system in Nigerian schools at the time was very tough.

He stated, "teachers will beat ya azz in front your fellow students including chicks you trying to holla at lol."

Blackson implied that this strict disciplinary approach to learning made students work very hard and take their education more seriously.
