What Service Has Kwame Gonja Really Provided Ghanaians for Us to Pay Him Any Emoluments?

Feature Article What Service Has Kwame Gonja Really Provided Ghanaians for Us to Pay Him Any Emoluments?
TUE, 23 JUL 2024 3

He was not the very first key operative of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) who excavated this act of wanton and criminal fleecing of Ghanaian taxpayers by the twice-defeated, one-term former President John “European Airbus SE Payola” Dramani Mahama, the man who rather ought to be paying handsome annual emoluments to the nation for unspeakably exploiting hardworking Ghanaian taxpayers, as well as wantonly and unconscionably plundering our national resources with his family members and political associates and cronies. I have already hinted at the fact that if the laws of our beloved Sovereign Democratic Republic of Ghana were really working, the Bole-Bamboi native, from the Akufo-Addo-created Savannah Region, would already be serving time behind bars and, possibly, imminently awaiting execution by firing squad. We need to make a special and an exceptional case and a deterrent example of this politically and economically insatiable greedy bastard and several of his close associates and kinsfolk, if Ghana is ever to be redeemed from such implacable vermin.

Actually, it was the still-young Bono Region’s Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Kwame Baffoe – aka Abronnye DC – who first dug up and publicly exposed the criminally profligate spending by the State on the Serial and the Dynastic Presidential Candidate of the country’s main opposition National Democratic Congress. Presently, however, it is the indomitable and sharpshooting, take-no-prisoners Deputy Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party, my profound apologies to late former US President Ronald W. Reagan, namely, Mr. Ernest Owusu-Bempah, who has savvily decided to, once again, remind Ghanaians of the fact that former President John “I Have No Classmates in Ghana” Dramani Mahama can, today, arrogantly thump his chest and cavalierly assert that he is civically in a class all by himself because he has been gluttonously feasting on both our blood and the innards of our thoracic cavities. He is not bluntly or directly saying this, but it clearly appears that Candidate-General John “Ouagadougou-Nkonfem Flying” Dramani Mahama is the “Mistake” that Ghanaians have already “corrected” in two consecutive Presidential Elections in the recent past and may very well need to, once again, indelibly and permanently “correct” come the historic and the watershed 2024 Presidential Election.

Under absolutely no circumstances should the man whom the very Founding-Father of his own political party bitterly and disconsolately described as the most thoroughgoing corrupt postcolonial Ghanaian be returned to Jubilee House, so that this hopelessly mistake-prone greedy bastard could “Correct his past mistakes,” both on our precious little time as well as on our burden-twisted backs. No way, no how! Ironically, in all this, it is Mr. Gabriel “Gabby” Asare Otchere-Darko on whose box-iron head my Dear Brother Ernest Owusu-Bempah ought to most squarely place the blame, with the coequal complicity of the lame-duck President Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, who well appears to have been scandalously hiding behind the scenes, in the memorable if also unflattering words of Mr. Martin ABK Amidu, and gaily giving his tacit and unreserved approval to all such dastardly deeds, as Mr. Otchere-Darko’s rather cavalier public authorization of Mrs. Lordina Mahama’s continuous drawing of statutorily illegal salary as a cabinet appointee, to which the former First Lady is clearly not entitled.

Which was also why the widely alleged proprietor of Asaase Radio infamy came out to publicly endorse the backdoor Article 71 Salary Scam and Heist that had the First and the Second ladies and their predecessors drawing regular paychecks on the same level as ministerial and cabinet appointees and at the expense of Ghanaian taxpayers, the Akyem-Abomosu Prince of Chaos publicly and shamelessly declared such heinous act of criminality to be absolutely kosher and integral to the national-development agenda of the Akufo-Addo-led government of the New Patriotic Party. Dear Brother, Nana Owusu-Bempah, did you ever see or hear the former John “The Gentle Giant” Agyekum-Kufuor-appointed Attorney-General and Minister of Justice come out to roundly condemn this heinous act of capital criminality?

And since then, hasn’t Mr. Otchere-Darko also come public to smugly brag about having struck an unholy and inglorious fast and intimate friendship with Yagbonwura Okogufuo Kwame Gonja that transcends ideological and political party lines and goes as far as the very inception of Ghana’s Fourth Republic, when the Bole-Bamboi native was the National Democratic Congress’ Member of Parliament for the West-Gonja Constituency? You see, for this chucklehead Akufo-Addo cousin, his supposed friendship with the incurably corrupt Mr. Mahama trumps every item on the national-development agenda of the present Akufo-Addo Administration. Which is essentially why it ought not to come as any strategic blindsiding to discover that the self-proclaimed “Bole Yam Farmer” is also the most gluttonous and highest paid former President of Fourth-Republican Ghana (See “Mahama's gluttonous ¢32million emolument 'chop-chop' and politics of deception ” Modernghana.com 7/3/24).
