Managing Editor for the Insight News Paper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr has pointed out that the Incoming Mahama government will not find it easy to prosecute corrupt NPP officials after their tenure of office.

Speaking at the 12th President John Evans John Atta Mills' Anniversary Commemorative Lecture as the guest speaker, he emphasized that the NDC government will face significant challenges in prosecuting wrongdoers due to the constraints of the judicial and state institutions.

According to him, former President John Evans Atta-Mills of blessed memories who was touted as a man of competent faced the same challenges from the Judiciary and state institutions when he set up a commission of inquiry to investigate the former corrupt government under John Agyekum Kuffour's administration.

He warned that the incoming administration should not underestimate the difficulties in bringing corrupt officials to justice, stating that it will not be a straightforward process.

"Just to ring the alarm bell. That the incoming Mahama administration will not find it easy to prosecute wrongdoers in the Nana Akufo-Addo administration. It is not going to be an easy task. Anybody who thinks that with a wave of a hammer, people are going to be arrested and put in jail must believe it with two percent. It ain't going to happen".

He added that Ghana can be among the great nations when state institutions allow government machinery to work without any interference with hunting.

The lecture on the theme " Remembering Atta Mills: 12 Years On" was held to commemorate the life and legacy of President Atta Mills, who was known for his commitment to justice and his efforts to combat corruption.
