The Women's Wing of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Binduri Constituency of the Upper East Region has resolved to secure victories for both the NPP's parliamentary and presidential candidates in the upcoming December 7 polls.

During a seminar held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at the Binduri Senior High School, the women's wing committed to actively campaigning and voting for Hon. Abdulai Abanga, the NPP's Parliamentary Candidate for Binduri, and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP's Presidential Candidate, to ensure success in the 2024 general elections.

In her address to the enthusiastic party women, Georgina Ayamba, the Upper East Regional Women Organiser of the NPP, emphasized the importance of their advocacy in achieving electoral success. She encouraged the women to intensify their efforts, stating, "We women are the majority. If we decide to vote for any candidate, that person automatically becomes the winner. Intensify your campaign for the party at every opportunity you get, whether at the market, places of worship, or work."

Vida Atubiga, the Binduri Constituency Women Organiser, pledged her support to all ninety polling station women organisers, aiming to increase the party's vote margin at their respective polling units.

Hon. Abdulai Abanga, the Member of Parliament for Binduri and the party's 2024 Parliamentary Candidate called for unity among the party members. He highlighted the numerous initiatives his office and the NPP government have brought to the people of Binduri.

Hon Abanga urged the women to effectively communicate the NPP's message to all constituents and assured them of his support in providing the necessary resources for a successful campaign.

He also encouraged them to solidify their support for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, emphasizing the importance of breaking the eight for the progress and prosperity of Ghana.

Clad in party paraphernalia of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Hon. Abdulai Abanga, the women chanted, "We will vote Abanga, we will vote Bawumia for continuous development," to conclude the seminar themed "It is possible together."

The event was also attended by constituency executives, electoral area coordinators, and party youth.
