Lawyer Ralph Poku-Adusei, the NPP parliamentary candidate for Bekwai Constituency, energized the Asokore community on Thursday, July 18, 2024.
He was greeted by a jubilant crowd of residents as he arrived to commission a borehole water facility he had constructed for them.
The residents, thrilled by his presence, chanted "Ralph afa," "obiaa boa," "Ralph b3ba," and "MP Papa paa" as they gathered to witness the commissioning of the facility. The event was also attended by the constituency party chairman for the NPP, Hon. Alex Arkoh Darkwah.
Earlier that day, the parliamentary candidate paid courtesy visits to the Chiefs and traditional leaders of Gyasikrom, Koniyaw, and Asokore communities to formally introduce himself as the new candidate contesting for the seat and to solicit their support.
The borehole facility in Asokore adds to two others constructed by Lawyer Ralph Poku-Adusei in Edwenase and Huntado communities under a project dubbed "Water for Life."
During the commissioning, Lawyer Ralph Poku-Adusei told the press that politics is not about much talk but about demonstrating what one can do for the electorate. He emphasized that the constructed borehole is proof of his commitment to supporting Asokore and the constituency at large. He pledged to offer more developmental support before, during, and after the December elections to improve the lives of all residents.
In his address, party chairman Hon. Alex Arkoh Darkwah urged the residents to vote for Lawyer Ralph Poku-Adusei as their MP and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as President of Ghana in the upcoming 2024 general election.
