IMANI Africa founder, Franklin Cudjoe has cautioned politicians not to take the Ghanaian people for granted ahead of the 2024 general election.

In a post on Facebook, he warned that Ghanaians are not stupid and won’t vote blindly during the December 7 polls.

Franklin Cudjoe in his post advised politicians looking for power to give a true account of their stewardship to the people.

He argued that this would be the best strategy to help any candidate to win the election.

“The best strategy for winning an election is to give a true account of your stewardship to the people. You may cause all security forces and their commanders to look the other way, but they have souls and buy from the same market. Above all else they value their professionalism above party politics. The people aren't stupid,” Franklin Cudjoe stressed.

The 2024 general election just like past elections will be between the ruling New Patriotic Party and the National Democratic Congress, according to political analysts.

All eyes are on the contest between NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and flagbearer of the NDC, John Dramani Mahama in the presidential election.

Nobody is listening except those who are already in your camp. You have already proved from your utterances that you're biased and nobody is taking you serious.
