Abigail Nana Ama Fosuawaa, a 24-year-old mother of one, has reportedly hanged herself due to a broken heart.
The incident occurred around 12 pm on Wednesday, July 17, in Samreboi, Amenfi West Municipality, Western Region, reports local radio station Green Gold FM.
Speaking to reporters, landlord Dominic Danquah said he was in his room when he heard a call from Hackman, who is allegedly the boyfriend of the deceased.
He went outside and heard from the alleged boyfriend that the deceased had hanged herself in her room.
Danquah then went to check the room to confirm the incident.
The deceased was sent to the Samartex Hospital Mortuary for a post-mortem examination.
Eyewitnesses reported that the lady left a note indicating her death should be blamed on Hackman.
The Samreboi Police have since invited the alleged boyfriend, Hackman, to assist in their investigation.
