Any Staunch and Diehard Member of the Mahama-led NDC Must Be an Idiot, Koku

I don’t know that Mr. Samuel Koku Sitsofe Anyidoho, the Asiedu-Nketia-expelled former Deputy General-Secretary of the country’s main opposition political party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has any particularly good reason to heartily express appreciation to our “Inscrutable Divine Providence” – my profound apologies to Yagbonwura Okogufuo Kwame Gonja – for supposedly not making the Communications Director to the late President John Evans Atta-Mills an idiot. For the latter element or phenomenon is precisely what the nephew of the Al-Shabab-slain poet and educator, Prof. Kofi Nyidevu Awoonor, has actually become or sadly and tragically made of himself (See “Thank God I'm not an idiot — Koku Anyidoho ridicules Asiedu Nketia” Modernghana.com 5/29/24).

Anybody who has been studiously following the lugubrious events in the wake of the highly suspicious passing of the former Vice-President and Arch-Lieutenant to the late President Jeremiah “Jerry” John Rawlings – aka Togbui Avaklasu, I – is well aware of the fact of Mr. Anyidoho’s being privy to far more vis-à-vis the murky circumstances surrounding the untimely death of the Rawlings-coronated First Serial and the Dynastic Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress than the latter has, so far, let on to the global Ghanaian community and the much larger international community as a whole. So, why is the Wheta native, from the Volta Region, now, all of a sudden, pretending as if he has been uniquely or specially redeemed from some cancerous affliction of idiocy which he so casually supposes the very cold-calculating and much smarter Mr. Johnson “The Mosquito” Asiedu-Nketia to be afflicted with?

Indeed, were he even half as smart as he now supposes or pretends himself to be, Koku Anyidoho could very well have royally exposed the dastardly shenanigans of the Machiavellian scam-artist likes of Messrs. John “I Have No Classmates in Ghana” Dramani Mahama and Johnson “The Mosquito” Asiedu-Nketia well in advance of the clearly collusive and the collaborative decision of these Two Musketeers to so unceremoniously and ingloriously show Messrs. Anyidoho and Bernard Allotey Jacobs, the retired Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, the exit door out of the latter political establishment. In not boldly and bravely and courageously exposing the implicit architects behind the grisly and the gruesome and the dastardly assassination of the Ekumfi-Narkwa native, from the Central Region, My Younger Brother Koku Anyidoho has “idiotically” made himself a witting and an even more guilty accomplice.

Now, we have already amply dealt with the widely alleged and ballyhooed petition by former Akufo-Addo-appointed Independent Special Prosecutor and so find it absolutely unnecessary to rehash the same logically bizarre and twisted details here again, except to remind our readers of the fact of Mr. Martin ABK Amidu’s having categorically denied having anything to do with the widely alleged petition curiously and scandalously sought to have Mr. Amidu’s immediate successor, namely, Mr. William Kissi Agyebeng, summarily ousted from the very office and the portfolio in which the latter has so decently and inimitably performed with emulative finesse and rakish or razor-like efficiency, if, indeed, there were any such descriptive characterization or expression.

Now, what is even more significant to highlight or underscore here regards the widely alleged establishment of a stevedoring business at the Tema Harbor by Mr. Asiedu-Nketia, the National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, with the criminal complicity of former President Mahama, the twice-defeated, one-term former President, who is also widely alleged to have literally gifted a French billionaire with the Tema and the Takoradi harbors, which has made it extremely difficult for Ghanaian citizens resident in the diaspora to ship automobiles and even household items and appliances to their homes and relatives in the land of their birth.

Indeed, were the present lame-duck Akufo-Addo government not deeply mired in its own fair share of corruption scandals, such morally and economically depraved milking of Ghanaian citizens, as has been refreshingly brought to public attention by Ghana’s longest-serving Deputy Attorney-General and Deputy Minister of Justice would have since long been thoroughly investigated, with the necessary and the proper disciplinary measures having already been swiftly taken or promptly effected or exacted. Now, it is downright ironic and farcical for the superannuated graduate of the Senior-Staff College of the Ghana Armed Forces to presume to needle Martin Amidu over the latter’s, in retrospect, perfectly understandable description of Nana Akufo-Addo as the “Mother-Serpent of Corruption” in the country.

You see, the former Agyekum-Kufuor-appointed Attorney-General and Minister of Justice has such a smashingly scandalous and parochial appreciation of what constitutes official corruption that it makes any critically thinking and civically responsible Ghanaian citizen wonder whether the globally celebrated author of the Repeal of the Criminal Libel Law would not have been much and far better off staying faraway from the highest office of the land. In the Ken Ofori-Atta-crafted Agyapa Mega-Heist, for example, Nana Akufo-Addo clearly came off as what may be aptly termed as a “Second Feeder,” that is, a prime beneficiary using blood relatives as transactional fronts, in pretty much the same way that Martin Amidu tells us, the then Vice-President Mahama had used his full-blooded siblings and other relatives and friends as transactional or payola-reception fronts in the globally infamous European Airbus SE Racket. A morally striking sort of Sodom and Gomorrah situation in postcolonial Ghanaian politics. Or is it not?

Your Kennedy Agyapong publicly called diehard NPP members ''IDIOT''!!! Kennedy added that he did not understand why he belonged to that your party, NPP. By that logic, you the writer, are an IDIOT. Make sense? When it comes to expulsions of members from major Political Parties in Ghana, the NPP is well-known for that. Akufo-Addo expelled Afoko, former NPP National Chairman, Kwabena Agyapong, the former General Secretary and currently key Party members like Mr Boabeng, Alhj Siddiki, etc. expe...

Do you support the suspension and removal of Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo?
