Nyaho Tamakloe Is the One Who Needs Psychiatric Examination and Treatment, Not Napo

Feature Article Nyaho Tamakloe Is the One Who Needs Psychiatric Examination and Treatment, Not Napo

He ought to know by now that it is rather much too late in his characteristically neocolonialist game of Divide-and-Conquer to play the newly selected Running-Mate of Vice-President Mahamudu “Issaka?” Bawumia, the widely presumed Next President of the Sovereign Democratic Republic of Ghana, to wit, Dr. Matthew Opoku-Prempeh – aka Napo – against the lame-duck President Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, who the maternal uncle of Mr. Ibrahim Mahama and the conjugal uncle of the twice-defeated, one-term former President John “I Have No Classmates in Ghana” Dramani Mahama, has been publicly and virulently scheming against since the leadup to the 2016 Presidential Election, which also saw the Bole-Bamboi native, from the Akufo-Addo-created Savannah Region, literally shred to pieces in the polling booth.

The same sound and merciless routing would be repeated in the 2020 Presidential Election and get the man whom the late President Jeremiah “Jerry” John Rawlings described as the most corrupt leader in postcolonial Ghana vacuously and abortively running to the Anin-Yeboah Supreme Court for unfounded redress. A visibly shaken and morally embarrassed Mr. Johnson “The Mosquito” Asiedu-Nketia, at the time the General-Secretary of the country’s main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), would later blame Mr. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, the extant National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, of having flagrantly and flagitiously hoodwinked the Mahama and the Asiedu-Nketia Posse into believing that the party was in possession of forensically sustainable evidence to readily overturn the 2020 Presidential Election when, in fact, it absolutely did not.

It is also crystal clear that what Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe implacably resents is not the fact of Dr. Bawumia’s Running-Mate’s having allegedly made an unflattering comment or remark perceived by his most ardent supporters and fanatics to be disrespectful of the memory of the globally recognized and, in some circles, revered and cherished name of Ghana’s first postcolonial leader. Rather, it is the unvarnished and readily accessible and verifiable fact that Dr. Opoku-Prempeh would so boldly and honestly call a metaphorical spade a spade by publicly letting on to the nation, the much too obvious and incontrovertible fact that when it comes to the massive and the material development of the country as a whole, the legendary architect of the globally celebrated Repeal of the British-Inherited Criminal Libel Law is absolutely without compeer or any rival in the Pantheon of Postcolonial Ghanaian Leaders (See “Apologise to Kufuor over Nkrumah comments – Nyaho Tamakloe tells NAPO” Modernghana.com 7/11/24).

What is clearly irksome to the 82-year-old Anlo-Ewe Trokosi Nationalist Reactionary is not merely the fact that Napo would unreservedly laud the nonesuch achievements of the former New Patriotic Party’s Member of Parliament for Akyem-Abuakwa South; but, rather, the fact that Dr. Opoku-Prempeh’s high commendation of Nana Akufo-Addo as “Ghana’s best President since Independence,” would also include the twice-elected President Agyekum-Kufuor, Napo’s publicly self-confessed granduncle, who is also widely known to have raised the graduate of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Medical School.

The fact of the matter is that but for the opportune and the timely leadership intervention of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the Agyekum-Kufuor-established low-premium National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), which has presently come to be regarded as the capstone of Mr. Agyekum-Kufuor’s Presidency and legacy, and virtually taken for granted, would be otherwise effectively and decidedly nonexistent, having been completely and criminally bankrupted by the previous John “European Airbus SE Payola” Dramani Mahama-led ragtag government of the National Democratic Congress. Closely on the very heels of the latter account must be promptly added that Napo is fully well aware of the fact that it was the dastardly orchestration of the steady, systematic and the sustained sabotaging of the presidential ambitions of Nana Akufo-Addo by Messrs. Agyekum-Kufuor, Kwadwo Mpiani and Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen and, of course, Richard W. Anane, bringing up the rear, that self-deservedly resulted in the collapse and the effective bankrupting of the National Health Insurance Scheme.

Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe is well aware of this readily accessible fact. So, why is the Ibrahim Mahama supplicant and the John Mahama-hired goon pretending as if he has been domiciled outside the country over the past two decades? If, indeed, any Ghanaian politician or leader is afflicted with “Inferiority Complex,” as the notorious Anlo-Ewe Trokosi Nationalist is claiming, it is definitely none other than the man in the mirror himself!

This vitriolic and obstreperously acerbic critic may also have conveniently and so soon forgotten the spirited attempts put up by the likes of Dr. Kwame Addo-Kufuor, granduncle of Dr. Opoku-Prempeh and the immediate younger brother of former President Agyekum-Kufuor, and the longest-serving Defense Minister in Dr. Addo-Kufuor’s own brother’s government, among several others, to effectively slam the brakes on the historically unprecedented implementation of the Akufo-Addo-established Fee-Free Senior High, Technical, Vocational and STEM Curriculum and Education System, obviously because the implementation of the latter jinx-breaking and Genuine Cultural Revolution was apt to put the former Agyekum-Kufuor-appointed Attorney-General and Minister of Justice in a class all by himself.

In reality, impugning the integrity and the iconic heroism of the globally immortalized President Kwame Nkrumah is a patently inadvisable and tabooed act of heresy and sacrilege. But it is not any significantly different from the fact that during the eight years that Mr. Agyekum-Kufuor was substantive President of our beloved Sovereign Democratic Republic of Ghana, the former Deputy Parliamentary Minority Leader in Ghana’s Third Republic never once observed or celebrated President Nkrumah’s, in retrospect, ominous Declaration of Ghana as a Republic on July 1, 1960, a self-serving politically strategic gambit that opened the sluicegates for “constitutional dictatorship” and tyranny of the kind that culminated in the brutal and the barbaric assassination of Dr. J. B. Danquah at the Nsawam Medium-Security Prison.

On almost every single one of the Republic Days that occurred under the tenure of President Agyekum-Kufuor, the proverbial “Gentle Giant” was either deliberately or accidentally out of the country on one official business or another. And Napo must be well aware of this most psychologically traumatizing and morally sobering and emotionally depressing experience. As for the fact of the abjectly poor state of Ghana’s economy and ramshackle industrial infrastructure, bequeathed the Agyekum-Kufuor government by the Rawlings-led regime of the National Democratic Congress, it only unmistakably points to the cognitive and the psychological unhinging of the Mahama-supporting Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe and has absolutely nothing to do with the supposed intellectual disorder or the purported emotional imbalance of Napo, as rather asininely claimed by the former Agyekum-Kufuor envoy to the Balkans. After all, isn’t Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe’s political idol and hero the Serial and the Dynastic Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress?

NAPO is an uncultured semi-literate. He Pairing with the BawumLiar makes the perfect ticket to sending NPP into Opposition for decades.
