Pastors And Chiefs Have To Stop Those False Prophecies That Bawumia Has Been Chosen By God To Rule Ghana

Politics and religion are related because religion fosters harmony between people, cooperates with the law, and helps to create a cohesive and productive community. However, I will not believe any chief, pastor, or individual, who tells Ghanaians that "God has chosen Bawumia to rule Ghana.” The God or Allah that Ghanaians worship is a merciful being; therefore, I don’t believe that He would make such a cruel vice president who has brought disaster to Ghanaians as president.

For some time now, pastors and chiefs have been publicly declaring that "God has chosen Bawumia to rule Ghana,” after having accepted bribes from the desperate Bawumia who aspires to be president. God used prophets in the past to convey His messages; prophets such as Elijah, Elisha, Isaiah, Joel, Moses, Jeremiah, and others clearly explain the origins and purposes of God's revelation. However, in Ghana today, counterfeit pastors and chiefs are behaving like authentic prophets.

Akufo Addo, the president, Mahamudu Bawumia, the vice president, Ernest Addison, the governor of the Bank of Ghana, Ken Ofori-Atta, the former finance minister, the head of the Electoral Commission, Jean Mensa, have all engaged in financial frauds, money laundering, and electoral frauds to bring down this once economically - booming nation. Will God be so cruel as to make Bawumia the president of Ghana, after the NPP drove well-to-do Ghanaians into poverty during its nearly eight years in power?

Ghanaian politics have been fascinating in many ways, but few anticipated the widespread rejection of the NPP government, even in the Ashanti Region, after the realization that they were foolish and pointless to believe the lies of Akufo Addo and Bawumia to transform Ghana into the "Dubai of Africa." Since their love of tribalism is the source of their folly, which has now cost them considerable development, they have made the decision not to make the same error again in 2024.

The decision of the disappointed NPP members has had an impact on the party's vice-president and presidential nominees, as the public no longer supports the NPP government, which they view as dishonest and incompetent, and since it is extremely difficult for Mahamudu Bawumia and Matthew Opoku Prempeh to be welcomed by the populace, they are now traveling around paying bribes to pastors and chiefs who are more concerned with their financial gain than the welfare of the people.

At a recent gathering in Kumasi, Bawumia distributed 400 cedis to pastors. Apostle Agyekum, the founder and leader of Victory Outreach Church Ghana, disclosed this. What does Bawumia's giving money to pastors and chiefs signify? This is because he has failed; as a result, whether you are a Christian or a Muslim, would you accept any prophecy made by a pastor or chief asserting that God has selected Bawumia to lead Ghana as genuine? That can’t be a true prophesy.

When comparing the NDC and NPP, Ghanaians have numerous approaches to determine which better government is. Despite the NDC's or John Mahama's accomplishments, and being accused of corruption and incompetence, he didn’t make any trouble in 2016. Therefore, as an intelligent Ghanaian, we need to ask: Why the Akufo Addo–Bawumia government has failed, yet, they are threatening the opposition and the people that they will not hand over power? It is because they don’t care about the people.

After collaborating with Ernest Addison to print money unlawfully three times without the consent of parliament, Bawumia is to blame for the economic disaster. He was involved in the money laundering that the Belgian government uncovered, leading to the closure of the Ghana Embassy's Belgian bank accounts. In addition, he is in charge of the more than $330 million in pilfered COVID-19 monies that the NPP politicians shared. He is also accountable for the scam that cost Ghana more than 60 billion cedis and the selling of the government’s properties.

The Ghanaian government has received its first, second, and third tranches of funding from the International Monetary Fund, yet the economy has not improved or developed. This indicates that the funds have also been moved into NPP's personal accounts, and more significantly, it discredits Bawumia as a forger of an economist. I don't think any sincere Muslim or Christian will accept that Bawumia has been elected by God to lead Ghana, considering the financial crimes that he has perpetrated.

In Kenya, Bawumia would have been forced to step down or go to prison for his financial crimes, let alone to be elected as president. Therefore, I'm begging pastors and chiefs to refrain from giving out false prophecies that could lead to violence.
