Ghana, Turkey discuss bilateral relations with focus on security

Minister for the Interior, Henry Quartey received the Turkish Ambassador to Ghana, Huseyin Gungor at his office in Accra to discuss bilateral relations between Ghana and Turkey, with a focus on security.

They also explored potential areas of cooperation between the two countries, including counter-terrorism, trade and capacity building for security agencies.

Henry Quartey welcomed the Ambassador and expressed Ghana’s appreciation for Turkey’s support in various fields, including security and economic development.

Ambassador Huseyin Gungor reiterated Turkey’s commitment to strengthening its relationship with Ghana and enhancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
