Politics Protozoa hits ground, begins campaign for Bawumia

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Suhum Constituency in the Eastern Region, Frank Asiedu Bekoe, also known as Protozoa, has launched a campaign to support the election of Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the next president.

Protozoa is engaging volunteer groups, churches, and Zongo communities in Suhum to rally support for this cause.

The aim of these engagements is to reassure party supporters and encourage voters to work towards achieving the “breaking the 8” goal, which refers to continuing the NPP’s tenure in government beyond the two-term limit. Protozoa is also campaigning for his election as the next Member of Parliament in 2025.

Protozoa has visited various churches and Zongo communities in the Suhum Constituency, highlighting the achievements of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. He has emphasized that Dr. Bawumia has effectively fulfilled his role as Vice President and possesses a vision to transform Ghana. Protozoa pointed out that Dr. Bawumia plans to continue the beneficial policies initiated by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s administration, particularly the free SHS policy.

Protozoa has expressed his commitment to using his knowledge and resources to unite the people of the constituency and strengthen the party’s appeal ahead of the general elections. He urged party members to work hard to make Dr. Bawumia the next President of Ghana, arguing that the flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has exhausted his political contributions to the country.

Protozoa assured that the many infrastructural projects started by the Akufo-Addo government would be continued and completed under Dr. Bawumia's leadership. Additionally, he promised to collaborate with traditional leaders, clergy, Muslim leaders, and other individuals in the constituency to promote development.

Protozoa has pledged to transform the Suhum constituency into a stronghold for the NPP in the upcoming and future elections. Since becoming the parliamentary candidate, he has engaged in numerous philanthropic activities to assist the electorate in the Suhum constituency.
