The General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Fifi Kwetey, says Ghana faces difficult economic times as the country has been beset by leadership paralysis under the current administration, leaving the nation in disarray.

However, he says former President John Mahama offers hope to Ghanaians with his vision, experience and proven track record.

In a Facebook post on Friday, June 21, Fifi Kwetey said "for over seven years, Ghanaians have endured hardship under the current administration. Corruption is rampant, and scandals are frequent, desensitizing the public. Leadership paralysis has left the nation in disarray, characterized by extreme corruption, abuse of power, and incompetence."

He argued that Mahama "offers unmatched Vision, Experience, Credibility, and a proven Track Record, promising to lead Ghana towards recovery and prosperity."

The former Minister of Food and Agriculture pointed to Mahama's "visionary leadership" which "aims to rescue Ghana, reset our trajectory, and restore progress."

The NDC general secretary also highlighted Mahama's "experience as a former president" which "equips him to navigate our current crises" and his "track record includes infrastructural development, social interventions, and economic policies that once set Ghana on a path of growth."

Fifi Kwetey called on Ghanaians to rally behind Mahama because, to him, "At this critical juncture, Ghana needs a leader with Vision, Experience, Credibility, and a proven Track Record. John Mahama embodies these qualities and is uniquely positioned to rescue Ghana from its current challenges."
