Bawumia has forced you to get to the ground — Kwamena Duncan jabs Mahama

Bawumia has forced you to get to the ground —Kwamena Duncan jabs Mahama

Former Central Regional Minister Kwamena Duncan has taken a jab at former President John Dramani Mahama over his recent campaign tactics.

Mahama was seen engaging with traders in a market, a move interpreted as an attempt to solicit votes.

Duncan pointed out that this shift in Mahama's campaign strategy was occasioned by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's ongoing grassroot campaign.

Bawumia, the flagbearer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), has been conducting a house-to-house campaign across the 16 regions, personally connecting with the electorate to garner support for his presidential bid.

Speaking on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" morning show, Duncan remarked, "Bawumia has forced some people to get to the ground," referring to Mahama's direct engagement with the public.

Duncan cautioned Ghanaians against voting for Mahama in the upcoming December elections.

He emphasized that Mahama, if elected, cannot serve more than four years due to constitutional limits.

This, he argued, means Mahama would not be accountable to the electorate, unlike Bawumia, who would need to seek re-election after four years and therefore would be more inclined to deliver on his promises.

"It is a choice which must be made and must be made wisely," Duncan advised.

Your sleeplessness about Mahama's campaign strategy will continue to linger until Ghanaians boot BAWULIAR AND THE MOTHER SERPENT OF CORRUPTION out of the Flag Staff House.
