Dear critical-reader, the question to ponder over is: Why should all Ghana's prudent Judges and Lawyers be fair, just and ethical at all material times, going forward into the future?
Question arises because one recently saw a must-watch video clip
which ought to be viewed by all prudent Judges and members of the Ghana Bar, well before the next Jerry Rawlings-type leader strikes after 2026, and metaphorically consigns the corruption riddled 4th Republic to history's engineered landfill, after consolidating his hold on power, and begins a programme of empowering the masses strategically. Yoooooooo...
That enforced-regime-change development, is a dead certainty, given the rolling-sheneningans we are witnessing in the monetised world of Ghanaian campaign season politricks, as politicians trade accusations and counter-accusations against each other, in the most nauseating of fashions lol. Hmmm, Anansesemkrom Ghana -tweaaaaa...
Said video clip, dear critical-reader, has a simple, powerful and important message on the pivotal necessity of all the professionals currently working in Ghana's justice delivery system, today, being ethical, fair and just, at all material times, going forward into the future - particularly Judges and members of the Bar in Ghana, whom we all honour and cherish.
That said, if bush telegraph sources are to be believed, one wonders if some light could be shed by the powers that be, on the hard-to-believe allegation, that somehow, those sitting on the Disciplinary Committee of the General Legal Council have apparently overlooked a previous Issa Ouedraogo petition against Lawyer Elis Quarshigah, and have instead hurried to hear Issa Ouedraogo's newish petition against Ace Ankomah and Seth Kwasi Asante, and their law firm, Benstil Enchil, Leste and Ankomah (BELA),
(Odd, that, if true - to lay people in Ghana, that is: The vast msjority of whom don't know the inner workings of the justice delivery system: which cranks slowly but eventually delivers, lol. But one digresses, dear critical-reader.)
The question that fairminded, truly patriotic, wise and aspirational Africans in Ghana ought to ponder over is: if true, why has there still been no hearing of Issa Ouedraogo's petition against Lawyer Elis Quarshigah, which was apparently sent well before the one against BELA, Ace Ankomah and Seth Kwasi Asante? Shedding some light on that would be helpful all round, for sure, dear critical-reader. Whatever be the case, in light of all the above, it would be prudent on the part of all Ghana's Judges and Lawyers be fair, just and ethical at all material times, going forward into the future. Hmmm, 3y3nsem piiiii, oooo, Ghanafuor. A word to the wise...
