The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has predicted that thunderstorms and rain will affect parts of the country later today, Wednesday, June 12.
According to the agency's 24-hour forecast issued this morning, "thunderstorms or rain are expected over some parts of the county from late afternoon into the evening hours."
In the forecast summary, GMet notes that "variably cloudy weather will dominate most places within the country with chances of rain over the northern sector and the coastal strip this morning."
It further states that "as the day progresses, cloudy with sunny breaks is anticipated over most parts of the country."
However, the forecast specifically mentions that "thunderstorms or rain are expected over some parts of the county from late afternoon into the evening hours."
The warning was signed by GMet duty forecaster Deborah Acheampong.
