Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr., has voiced his support for calls to investigate the alleged audio recording of a conversation between Attorney-General Godfred Yeboah Dame and Richard Jakpa the third accused person in the ongoing ambulance case involving Minority Leader Cassiel Ato Forson.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) recently released a 16-minute recording in which Richard Jakpa alleges that the Attorney-General visited him to provide false testimony against Minority Leader Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson in the ongoing ambulance case.

The recording purportedly captures a conversation between Godfred Dame and Jakpa, where Dame allegedly coached Jakpa on what to say in court, specifically targeting Dr. Ato Forson.

Kwesi Pratt, in a discussion on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” morning show, emphasized that the content of the leaked tape is too important to be dismissed without due consideration.

He stated, "All my working life I've been working with tapes; I've listened to the tape where the Attorney General is asking Jakpa to go for a false medical report.

“If you hear this allegation and dismiss it offhand, what are you doing? This is not an issue to be ignored. The allegation is serious enough to warrant an investigation."
