Nhyira Nana Yaw Mante, a student of the Ghana Christian International High School and a member of the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC) West Hills in the Kasoa Area of the Church of Pentecost (CoP) has grabbed three Singapore’s International Olympiad Challenge (SIMOC) awards.

The SIMOC was organised by the Singapore International Mastery Contests Centre (SIMCC) in 2022. The SIMOC is a prestigious annual competition that brings together young maths enthusiasts from around the world.

It consists of three categories: an individual written Maths Olympiad Contest for Grades 1 to 12 (Primary 1 to Junior College 2), and two team-based challenges Master Mind Competition and Mind Sports Challenge.

The competition featured about 34,000 students worldwide.

Mr Mante won three medals; in the three competitions he participated in and qualified to represent Ghana in Singapore for the Global Finals.
