I want to be the best Education Minister Ghana has ever had, best in the world —Dr. Adutwum

Education Minister, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum has garnered widespread acclaim for his ambitious initiatives aimed at transforming the country's education landscape.

Under his leadership, Ghana has witnessed the implementation of innovative programmes and projects designed to elevate the quality of education and equip students with the skills needed for success in the modern world.

One such initiative is the STEM/TVET program, which focuses on nurturing vocational and technical skills among students, with the ultimate goal of fostering entrepreneurship and reducing reliance on government for job opportunities.

This visionary approach has received praise for its potential to empower the younger generation and drive economic growth.

Recent infrastructure developments in the education sector have also drawn attention and admiration.

A few days ago, seasoned Journalist and Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt, expressed astonishment at the quality of numerous science laboratories and other facilities that have been constructed or refurbished under Minister Adutwum's stewardship.

Praising the government, he said, “I am really surprised and amazed by some of the strides which have been made in the educational sector.

“I’m surprised; I mean when I saw some of the types of Science laboratories they have built and the quality, the numbers and so on, I was genuinely impressed. Genuinely impressed.”

In an interview on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" morning show, Dr. Adutwum shared his personal aspirations and motivations driving his commitment to educational excellence.

"I want to be the best Education Minister in the world," Dr. Adutwum affirmed, underscoring his dedication to surpassing expectations and leaving a lasting legacy.
