NDC NDC will never win 2024 polls, so NPP won't hand over power to them – Bryan Acheampong

Member of Parliament for Abetifi Constituency, Bryan Acheampong, has reaffirmed his stance from last year, asserting that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will not emerge victorious in the 2024 general elections, and, thus, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will not cede power to them.

Speaking at a unity walk organised by the NPP as part of this year's Kwahu Easter celebrations in Mpraeso, Kwahu South Municipality, Eastern Region, Mr. Acheampong emphasised that despite economic challenges faced by Ghana, including obstacles for contractors due to factors such as COVID-19 and the Russian-Ukraine war, the NPP had implemented measures to revive the economy, leading to positive outcomes such as improved inflation rates and a drop in the dollar rate.

"Last year, I stood here in Mpraeso and said that whether NDC likes it or not, they will never win the December 7 polls and, therefore, the NPP will not hand over power to them because they cannot win the elections.

"If you can not win elections, why do you want power to be given to you at all cost."

"As at that time, I made the statements Ghana was confronted with economic challenges which made it difficult for contractors to do their work, unable to continue agenda 111 projects among others", Mr Acheampong stated.

He expressed confidence in these economic strides resonating with voters and securing the NPP's victory in the upcoming elections. Mr. Acheampong concluded by stating that, with the current positive indicators, the NPP was poised to decisively win the forthcoming elections.
