Special Aide to former President John Dramani Mahama, Joyce Bawah Mogtati has hit out at President Akufo-Addo amid the recent power outages in the country.
Electricity supply in the country has been unstable since last month, forcing businesses to suffer.
For the Minority in Parliament, the outages are happening because the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has mismanaged the power sector and can not afford fuel to power the thermal plants.
In a post on X today, Joyce Bawah Mogtati reminded President Akufo-Addo of how he criticized John Dramani Mahama during his administration during the 3years of power crisis.
“A whole President who ought to know better than most, talked about Dumsor as if John Dramani Mahama was at the switch,” the Special Aide to the NDC flagbearer bemoaned in her post.
Meanwhile, the Electricity Company of Ghana has refuted the claims that dumsor is back.
The company admits that there are only power outages being experienced as a result of some maintainable issues.
