Ghanaians have made up their minds about the direction they want the country to take and will not be swayed by opposition propaganda, according to Dennis Edward Miracles Aboagye, director of communications for NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's campaign team.

He noted the ruling party will learn from the past and put prudent measures in place to make the country better.

"The objective is to learn from the past and be guided by same, going into the future. The People of Ghana are clear in their minds about the future they want, and no amount of bogus propaganda can bring the NDC back to power," Miracles Aboagye stated via X on Wednesday, February 21.

He argued that the NPP has a track record of building Ghana up, while the NDC has presided over destruction.

With the country still recovering from the global pandemic and its economic impacts, Aboagye said Ghanaians will not risk handing power back to the NDC.

"The fact is that, The NPP builds and the NDC comes to destroy and it will be even more devastating in such times where the whole world is recovering from a global pandaemic, never seen since 1918 Spanish Flu pandemic which has caused a global supply chain problems," he noted.

Miracles Aboagye touted the NPP government's management of inflation and economic stabilization measures over the past year.

He also highlighted flagship policies such as Free SHS, investments in infrastructure and health, and industrialization drive.

Choosing between "the future and the past," Miracles Aboagye believes Ghanaians will opt for Bawumia, who has not been president before but has a vision, over Mahama, who was a "dormant Vice-President and a shambolic and incompetent President."
