The exchange rates remained relatively stable awith slight variations observed across different platforms.
Notably, Cedi's performance against the US Dollar (USD), Euro (EUR), and British Pound (GBP) remained favourable.
Dollar to Cedi (USD to GHS)
The Cedi's exchange rate against the US Dollar remained steady on Friday, with Forex Bureaus such as AfriSwap and Express selling the cedi per dollar at GHS12.25.
CediConvert and WeWire Africa are offering rates of GHS12.35 and GHS12.42, respectively.
Other commercial banks and money transfer services also provided competitive rates, ranging from GHS12.02 to GHS12.22.
Euro to Cedi (EUR to GHS)
The Euro maintained a consistent performance against the Cedi, with Forex Bureaus such as AfriSwap and GAFORB offering selling rates of GHS13.50 each per Euro.
Commercial banks and money transfer services also provided competitive selling rates, ranging from GHS12.76 to GHS12.92.
Customers looking to make online transactions through Visa's payment processor should take note of the rate provided, which stood at GHS 13.98.
Pound to Cedi (GBP to GHS)
The Cedi's exchange rate against the British Pound remained stable on Friday, with Forex Bureaus like GAFORB and AfriSwap offering selling rates of GHS 15.50 each.
Commercial banks and money transfer services provided rates ranging from GHS15.17 to GHS15.56.
Remitly, Western Union and WorldRemit did not provide specific selling rates for the Pound to Cedi exchange but pegged their buying prices at GHS14.18, GHS14.46, and GHS14.54 respectively.
