Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, the Founder and Leader of the Movement for Change, has called on Ghanaians not to underestimate his ability to win the 2024 presidential elections as an independent candidate and bring the much needed change.
During the "Youth and Women Walk with Alan" event in Kumasi on Saturday, December 2, 2023, Mr Kyerematen emphasized that he is the most qualified candidate to break NDC and NPP dominance and lead Ghana into a prosperous future.
The former flag bearer hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), who resigned to establish his independent political movement, addressed supporters alongside his wife and members of the Butterfly Movement.
"Don’t underestimate me. Do I look like someone who is in this race for fun?" he asked supporters, asserting that the 'Movement for Change' is a lasting initiative.
According to him, he represents the "safest pair of hands to propel Ghana to greater heights."
Kyerematen urge Ghanaians to move beyond the traditional two-party system stating, “Ghanaians want to go beyond NDC and NPP.”
He further urged Ghanaians to repose their trust in him, emphasizing that a new era of transformative leadership is necessary for the country to succeed.
