Supporters of Hon. Alan Kyerematen's Movement for Change (MFC) have dismissed the notion that a 24-hour economy is an original idea of former President John Dramani Mahama.
They assert that the innovative policy is an integral part of Alan's Great Transformational Policy (GTP).
In a strong demonstration of support for the Afrafranto movement, loyal followers of Alan Kyerematen's MFC took to the streets of Kumasi during a walk.
The supporters proudly displayed placards attributing the 24-hour economy concept to the former Trade and Industry Minister.
The placards boldly proclaimed, "Alan's GTP already has a 24-hr economy in place," a direct response to John Mahama's proposal for a 24-hour economy in his potential future government.
This public demonstration sought to challenge Mahama's claim and emphasize the existing initiatives led by Kyerematen, positioning Alan Cash as the pioneer of the 24-hour economy concept in Ghana.
Mr Kyerematen served as the Trade and Industry Minister for nearly a decade before forming the Movement for Change after resigning from the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
